This begins as an intensely iterative process.

Using AI to get clearer and closer to the image that I am looking for. then i take it from its purely digital domain and produce the physical art on paper/canvas/board in various media (oil, pastel, acrylic)

Pick the medium and method

Each image has components that may lend a better result using pastel or acrylic or oils, perhaps in some cases all three. I don't have a fixed method on what to use, and sometimes i will paint the same image using different techniques to arrive at the final result.
